Blake DeWayne Babcock, MD is a surgical oncologist with dual board certification in both general surgery as well as complex general surgical oncology. He was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Babcock attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2010. Dr. Babcock then completed his general surgery residency and oncologic research fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA in 2017. He then went on to complete his complex general surgical oncology fellowship at Loma Linda University in 2019. Dr. Babcock treats a wide range of cancers including esophageal, stomach, pancreatic, liver, small bowel, appendix, ovarian, colorectal, sarcoma, and skin cancers (i.e., melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and basal cell carcinoma.) He lives in Denver with his wife and three children. He enjoys snowboarding, skiing, cycling, and watching his beloved New Orleans Saints.
